Register for the MSMGF Pre-conference

Once you have registered for the conference don’t forget to register for the MSMGF pre-conference: Action + Access: Rights and Demands of Gay and Bisexual Men in the Global HIV Response. AIDS2016.org provides you with a step-by-step guide on how to register.  The pre-conferences are free to everyone registered for the main conference on a first-come, first-served basis so it important to secure your seat before capacity is reached. MSMGF will also be offering a limited number of free weekend passes to individuals who are not attending the main conference but are interested in participating in our pre-conference. These passes can be picked up at the venue on the 16th. More details to come.

140 New IAS Scholarships

New scholarship opportunities provided by the IAS Educational Fund will enable 100 clinicians and 40 advocates to attend the conference. Applications for these grants are now open and will close on May 11th  If you are interested, your existing scholarship application can be automatically taken into consideration

Civil Society Access Initiative

AIDS 2016 is partnering with the South Africa Development Fund to provide an additional 200 registrations from the newly created Civil Society Access Initiative. The initiative is aimed to increase the number of civil society participants from sub-Saharan Africa. It is open to people from sub-Saharan Africa working or volunteering in the field of HIV and AIDS and people living with HIV and/or belong to a community that is disproportionately affected by HIV. Individuals from rural areas who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend the conference are strongly encouraged to apply here.

Late Breaker Abstract Submission is Now Open

Late Breaker Abstract submission is now open until May 12th. Submissions must present data gathered after the regular abstract submission deadline closes that is of unquestioned significance. A small number of late breaker abstracts will be accepted to be presented orally or as posters at the conference. The percentage of abstracts selected as late breakers will depend on the number of submissions, and selection will be significantly more rigorous than for regular abstracts. Submit your abstract here.

MSMGF
