On Wednesday, October 8th, the Community Leadership and Action Collaborative (CLAC) will host a French-language webinar on lessons learned from the Global Fund country dialogue process in Cameroon. Presented by the MSMGF and Affirmative Action, this webinar will include an overview of the different types of technical support provided by CLAC to prepare key populations for engagement in Global Fund country dialogue processes.
In addition, the speakers will discuss results from a series of country dialogue activities that took place in Cameroon in spring and summer 2014. These activities included consultations held in March with key populations to determine priority activities and recommendations; a key population workshop held in April, where a task force was created with in-depth knowledge of advocacy techniques and the Global Fund’s new Funding model; identification of task force representatives to be part of a Global Fund concept note technical writing team; presentation by the task force to convey recommendations to the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) in May; and a review of the Global Fund draft concept note at a workshop held in July and August.
This webinar is free of charge and pre-registration is required to participate. You can pre-register online and see the French-language version of this announcement at https://cc.readytalk.com/cc/s/registrations/new?cid=yqe7rt27s1vy.
