Russia Asked the UN to Dismiss the Complaint of a Russian Lesbian

Russian authorities asked the UN Human Rights Committee to declare inadmissible the complain of a Russian Lesbian who was fined by a court for “propaganda of homosexuality to minor”.

On March 30, 2009, Gay and Lesbian activists held several actions against the ban of the promotion of homosexuality in the city of Ryazan. They went out in the streets holding placards with slogans: "Homosexuality is normal" and "I am proud of my homosexuality. Ask me about it."
