Civil Society briefing on UNAIDS PCB Meeting

Dear friends and colleagues,

The upcoming UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) meeting is taking place from 21-23 June in Geneva.  As we prepare for the meeting, the PCB NGO Delegation would like to convene a call with those of you in wider civil society to brief you on the main agenda items and to receive your feedback to inform our strategy for the meeting.

The board meeting will include the following agenda items:

  • Unified Budget & Accountability Framework (UBRAF)
  • Food Security and HIV
  • Report on Women, Girls, Gender Equality and HIV
  • Support mechanisms for African States


Please note that all relevant board papers are now available on the Delegation’s website at http://unaidspcbngo.org/?p=13326.

The call will take place on Tuesday 14 June 2011 at 3pm CET/Geneva (you can find out your local time by using this page and choosing your country). Please try to come on the call five minutes earlier so we can start at 3pm.

Reminder: For those of you attending the 28th Programme Coordinating Board meeting in June, the NGO Delegation will host a CIVIL SOCIETY PRE-MEETING on Monday 20 June 2011 at UNAIDS from 2:00-4:00 pm. Please join us.
