KINGSTON, Jamaica:
Professor Brendan Bain this morning testified that he was approached by a senior member of a major international organisation who warned him that there were likely implications for tendering an expert report in a Belizean Court.

Under cross examination from Hugh Small, Professor Bain said the remarks were made by Dr Earnest Massiah, Director of UNAIDS for the Caribbean.

Professor Bain further said Massiah expressed the concern to him while they were at a conference in The Bahamas.

Yesterday, Professor Bain testified that former Executive Director of the Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition, Ian McKnight, Dr John Walters and noted Epidemiologist and HIV/AIDS researcher, Dr Peter Figueroa, approached him to raise concerns about the likely outcome of his evidence to the Belizean Court.
